We arrived in Ft Davis mid afternoon. It was hot and very windy. After getting settled (which took longer than usual because of chatty neighbor) we took a nap and just hung out until after dinner. Took a long walk and visited with several other campers. We met a couple from Virginia that travel with their McCaw. It is 15 yrs old and they got him when he was 4 months. Had to remove some furniture from the RV to accomadate the bird cage. They are full timers. Charlie wasn't interested at all. Too many rabbits and cats to mess with a funny looking bird. We are a little ways out of town so there are plenty of wild creatures to keep Charlie interested.
Still seems odd to me that RVers seldom introduce them selves. They tell you their pets name but seldom theirs. I suppose if we hung around more than a day maybe they would eventually...
