Made it to Lafayette La around 4:00 pm. Found a great RV park. Almost as nice as the one yesterday. There is a 10 acre lake in the center of the park. Fishing is allowed and no lic required. Limit 4 fish a day. How neat is that. Calvin has his fishing rod with him but we didn't find out about the fishing until it was too late. Guess he can fish tomorrow morning...EARLY. The heat is really getting to Charlie. When we finish walking he comes in the trailer and plops down on the floor with his tongue hanging out. Don't know why it would bother him that much. Of course I am right there beside him. Any guesses on who has the longest tongue?
We may make it to Dallas tomorrow night. However, Calvin is talking of spending some time in Shreaveport. Hmm. Wonder what in the world could be of interest there. Slots anyone?
