On Monday, Calvin found out he was going to have some time away from work. Decisions had to be made quickly to get out of town. Decision made, trailer loaded and ready for the road. All on Monday. I have been eager to visit Abiquiu for about a year now so that is our destination. Not many RV parks in that area but it is only about 50 miles north of Santa Fe. Darn!!! :-) Really like this part of the world.
Tuesday, left Andrews about 11:00 am. Made it to a KOA approx 12 miles from Santa Fe around 6:30 pm. Set up was fast and sandwiches for supper. Charlie not sure what is going on and wandered around as if looking for home. Well, Charlie, this is home for awhile.
We are staying at the trailer today, just hanging out. Forgot the camera but that is an easy fix. Hopefully, pictures tomorrow. So nice here!!!!! Funny, we got a job offer as guest hosts. Seasonal work. Until the middle of Nov. Of course that involves work, so not taking it too serious right now. Maybe down the road.
