Wild Horses

Well, we are good horse hunters. We went to BLM this morning to get maps and directions for driving through the Great Divide Basin. They told us where we would have the best chance for finding the horses. The area they recommended was about 50 miles from the BLM starting point. We drove about 20 miles and saw approximately 18 horses. And right off the road. They stood and watched us and then acted like they were going to cross the road a good ways behind us. I walked towards them and they stopped and watched me. When I got about 50 yds and they turned and ran a short distance then stopped and watched us for awhile before trotting off. I got some great pictures which I will try to put on here. This was such a treat. We saw several other herds but they were a long ways from the road.
